Crusoe · Onsite · Brighton, CO - US

As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

Join our team as a Project Manager for Hot/Cold (HAC) Aisle Containment and Spark Modular Data Center products, and take ownership of planning, organizing, and executing Engineered to Order (ETO) programs with precision and efficiency. HAC is high-volume, fast-turn, and configuration-driven — it demands a project manager who can run repeatable work at speed while holding cost and quality discipline.

This role sits at the intersection of estimating accuracy and production reality. HAC programs are won and lost on material cost, scope delineation, and the ability to release clean packages to the floor quickly. You'll manage multiple concurrent HAC programs across design variants while carrying supporting scope on Spark MDC builds.

Your work directly impacts our ability to deploy modular data center infrastructure that computes from sustainable, renewable and/or stranded energy sources. This is a strong growth role for a project manager ready to take on greater customer ownership within the modular sector.

We are seeking a motivated professional with a background in construction, engineering, and/or manufacturing, strong cost instincts, and a bias toward getting clean packages to the floor fast. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Hot/Cold Aisle Containment Programs: Manage concurrent HAC programs from award through fabrication, kitting, and shipment — owning schedule, cost, scope, and delivery commitment for each.

  • Configuration Control: Manage HAC design variants and ensure the correct released design, BOM, and material takeoff drive each production release.

  • Budget Reporting and Forecasting: Own material-driven cost performance. Track quoted versus actual material cost, drive takeoff accuracy, and escalate variance with root cause — not just a number. You own the accuracy of your project cost model, maintain it to the PMO reporting standard and cadence, and sign the monthly cost-to-complete position that feeds the program economics review.

  • Customer and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate scope delineation with customers and installing contractors. Clarify what ships, what is field-installed, and where responsibility transfers, and get it in writing.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Estimating on pricing support, quantity validation, and competitive positioning inputs for HAC pursuits.

  • Production Release Readiness: Drive drawing release, BOM completeness, kitting plan, and shop packet quality before work orders open.

  • Logistics and Delivery: Manage shipment sequencing to match customer install schedules, including staged and partial releases.

  • Spark Program Support: Support Spark MDC programs with schedule maintenance, change tracking, and documentation as assigned.

  • Strategic Change & Risk Management: Maintain change logs, risk logs, RFIs and submittals, and produce customer-facing schedule impact reporting for assigned programs.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to standardization of HAC estimating templates, BOM structures, and production packets to reduce cycle time per program.

  • Executive Dashboard Inputs: Complete the project-level portions of the sector executive dashboard on the published cadence — schedule position, milestone status, cost and margin position, and open risk. Your inputs are what gets reported upward, so their accuracy and timeliness are yours to own.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in construction, prefabrication, or manufacturing product delivery with exposure to multi-disciplinary products.

  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5+ years managing projects within the electrical equipment, construction, engineering and/or manufacturing industry.

  • Bachelor of Science: BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management. Closely related fields will be considered.

  • Cost Management: Demonstrated ownership of material cost performance, including takeoffs, BOM accuracy, and variance analysis.

  • Engineering & Constructability Competency: Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and structural/sheet metal detail, and to advise on risks associated with design decisions. We are looking for someone to add value from an “I have to build this” perspective to provide productive feedback to our engineering group.

  • Concurrent Program Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple fast-turn programs simultaneously without loss of schedule or cost control.

  • Schedule Development & Management: Proficient with programs such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com or Primavera P6.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with manufacturing ERP systems like SAP or Visual; experience with Acumatica is preferred.

  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and influence peers, ensuring collaborative project execution.

  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Bonus Points:

  • Data center construction experience

  • Direct experience with data center containment, raised floor, cable management, or similar white-space infrastructure products.

  • Exposure to modular data center or prefabricated electrical building manufacturing.

  • Estimating or takeoff experience in a competitive bid environment.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.

  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement training.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
