NASCAR is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Event Race Project Management, to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Media and Event Technology initiatives. This role will drive complex technical projects across software applications, API integrations, and live event technology environments. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong Agile project management expertise and a proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple technology projects using Agile methodologies.
• Own operational readiness and support execution across NASCAR's live event technology ecosystem.
• Coordinate integration teams, technology partners, OEM vendors, and competition technology stakeholders.
• Manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Oversee software development backlogs and workflows using Jira.
• Facilitate project status meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and technical teams to define project requirements and objectives.
• Champion Agile best practices and quality assurance processes to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive consistent, predictable results with a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Support live events and strategic initiatives as needed, including occasional travel.

• Travel: Approximately 5%, including occasional weekends.
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in software development, technology operations, or related environments.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing projects involving custom applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based technologies.
• Demonstrated success leading projects utilizing Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban; familiarity with Waterfall and Hybrid approaches.
• Proficiency with Jira or similar project management platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently while driving alignment across teams.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
• Experience supporting technology operations in live event, media, sports, or entertainment environments.
