This position reports to:
Project Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Electrical design of medium-voltage switchgear and project management of complex projects.
- Engage with customers to negotiate and finalize technical agreements.
- Optimize project design and promote standardization.
- Provide robust technical support both internally to colleagues and externally to clients, be mentor to new employees, assistant engineers, engineers.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical automation or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Over 3 years’ experience of electrical design, experience in medium-voltage switchgear is preferred.
- Strong understanding of power systems, such as high-voltage technology, power system analysis, and protection relay.
- Good communication and logical thinking ability.
- Good English skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Strong focus on quality and cost control.
- Proficient in office software, such as EPLAN, AutoCAD.
