Submarines business is responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and through-life support of nuclear propulsion-related products and systems in support of the Royal Navy's submarine fleet.

As a Project Delivery Professional –
You’ll be focused on collaborative working within a dynamic team, ensuring the effective deployment of programme management tools and processes. Responsibilities include:
- Interfacing with internal teams to ensure a cohesive programme that delivers the programme requirements
- Developing materials to support various internal and external customer reviews
- Providing information in support of business case development and supporting contract bid activities
- Provide input to financial management processes, including estimating costs and managing cost profiles.
- Maintain, develop & communicate the plan in the designated planning tool sets (both P6, DevOps and SAP)
- Ensure the project controls processes are effectively deployed and maintained

What you will be doing:
You will work with key stakeholders to capture the project work scope and deliver Special to Product Tooling for Core Manufacture, in line with customer requirements. This also includes the development of project artefacts such as the Product Breakdown Structure (PBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Statement of Work (SOW) and Basis of Estimate (BOE). Core manufacture is at a really exciting time with abundant opportunities for growth and development available.

- APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) desirable
- Demonstrable experience within a similar position/entry level qualification (HNC or Foundation Degree) desirable
- Experience of developing schedules within a complex environment
- A willingness to become an associate or full member of the APM
- Knowledge and skills of scheduling software (Primavera P6) and subsequent functionality desirable
The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
