About this Program Manager role at Accenture Federal Services
The Program Manager oversees and manages the fiduciary execution of a federal project, ensuring alignment with Sr Operations Manager/Dep Ops Manager goals and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and will have to account for all efforts as they relate to resource allocation, risk mitigation, performance monitoring, for the execution of sensitive mission, intelligence/signature reduction and operational support. The Project Manager ensures effective collaboration to support successful project delivery in a complex federal contracting environment.
The Work:
- Oversee the fiduciary the execution of a federal IT project from initiation through completion
- Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and risk registers, and burn rate metrics
- Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor project progress
- Manage resource allocation
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and briefings as related to Project Managers fiduciary responsibility
Here's what you need:
- Individual must have 15+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Sensitive operational and inter agency support
- Leadership and management experience
- HUMINT, Signature reduction support and infrastructure development
- Experience in risk management/reduction
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field; or 4 years additional equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in a federal contracting environment
- Experience managing IT projects, including infrastructure engineering initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies
- Proven ability to interface effectively with personnel at all organizational levels, both technical and non technical
Bonus points if you have:
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Familiarity with federal IT environments, governance processes, and compliance requirements
- Possess excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with the ability to handle stressful situations
- Be able to communicate details clearly and effectively verbally as well as in writing
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage reporting and project communications

- Must have a Top Secret Clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
