The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance executive stakeholder management with strong delivery discipline, ensuring transparency, accountability, and successful outcomes across complex transformation programs. This is a highly visible, client-facing leadership position requiring expertise in program governance, change management, project delivery, organizational leadership, and strategic consulting.

  • Provide end-to-end oversight of large-scale transformation programs from mobilization through implementation and stabilization.
  • Lead Program Managers, Workstream Project Managers, and PMO resources to ensure successful delivery against milestones, scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans across business, operational, and technology workstreams.
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • Support organizational readiness and transition-to-business-as-usual (BAU) activities.

Governance, Controls & Reporting

  • Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead steering committees, governance forums, executive reviews, and program status meetings.

  • Own program planning, reporting, and controls utilizing Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other project management tools.
  • Develop executive dashboards, status reports, RAID logs, action trackers, and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain program documentation and evidence repositories to support governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Executive Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and senior State Street leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding program progress, risks, dependencies, strategic decisions, and overall program health.
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates, steering committee materials, and governance reporting.
  • Develop communication strategies that promote transparency, accountability, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Influence decisions and drive outcomes across organizations without direct reporting authority.

PMO Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Help define and execute the vision, operating model, and organizational structure for the Alpha Consulting PMO.
  • Establish Alpha Consulting as a center of excellence for program delivery, governance, and change management.
  • Develop repeatable delivery frameworks, templates, reporting standards, and best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to recruit, mentor, and develop PMO talent.
  • Support resource forecasting, capacity planning, budget oversight, and financial management activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery quality, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

  • Strong executive presence with experience interacting with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in program governance, risk management, project controls, and delivery oversight.
  • Experience managing multiple project managers, workstreams, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and drive results through others.
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and project reporting tools.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred.
