The Advanced Effectors & Space organization within the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Manager, Program Cost Controls (P4) to serve as the financial lead for the SLCM-N development program within the AET & IKCA Finance team.

 

This position will support program cost controls, financial reporting, forecasting, program analysis, contract deliverables, funding activities, and management reporting. The position will use SAP APEX, PRISM, and other program controls and Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to support financial and program reporting activities.

The position will supervise a team of two analysts and will include responsibilities for work review, training, and employee development.

 

What You Will Do:

• Supervise two individual contributors, including reviewing work, providing training, and supporting employee development.
• Execute monthly and quarterly contract deliverables.
• Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) activities for the program.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts for the program using RPlan.
• Provide financial analysis and information to program leadership.
• Monitor cost collection and identify variances from established financial plans.
• Support program financial reporting and analysis.
• Support program funding activities and related financial transactions.
• Prepare and present financial and program information to management and other stakeholders.

 

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting financial or program briefings to management and peers.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data sets.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, Day 1 with the ability to obtain program access after start.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience communicating financial and program information to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience working in a matrixed organizational structure.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, and other functional organizations.
• Experience supporting financial process or system changes.
• Experience with SAP and SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
• Experience with SAP APEX and/or PRISM.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and program cost controls.
• Experience with program financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience preparing financial or program briefings for management.
• Experience managing Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs), funding activities, or similar financial transactions.
• Experience using RPlan for financial forecasting or financial planning.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
