  • In tandem with the Production Finance team, be responsible for reviewing the first draft of production incentive applications - gathering the various documents required in the application phases
  • Review production budgets to ensure proper tagging and assumptions, as well as providing feedback to production accountants and producers
  • Partner with on-set accounting teams to ensure that budget/GL tagging is consistent with program rules, and that all production requirement deadlines are understood and met.
  • Act as an advisor to production teams on potential opportunities by researching and staying up to date with legislative changes, with a primary focus on project-level incentive programs to ensure that productions are utilizing every available credit.
  • Manage relationships with third-party CPA auditors and tax service providers, overseeing all aspects of the audit process - including tracking and reporting timelines, gathering required documentation, obtaining preliminary opinion letter estimates, and ensuring all materials are submitted accurately and timely to initiate and complete audits.
  • Manage ad-hoc incentive information requests and analyses, including research projects to be shared with leadership
  • Review tax language in various agreements
