About this Production Manager (Heat Exchanger) role at Carrier
About the Role
We are seeking a Production Manager (Heat Exchanger) to lead high-volume manufacturing operations within heat exchanger and coil production. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, stable, and efficient production, while consistently delivering on quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets.
You will play a key role in driving shopfloor performance, process stability, and workforce capability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and alignment with business and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of heat exchanger / coil manufacturing to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production
Execute production plans aligned with demand and delivery commitments
Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
Ensure process stability and control in manufacturing and assembly operations
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues
Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to improve process capability and reduce defects
Drive productivity improvement through manpower optimization and process efficiency
Monitor and control manufacturing costs including labor, scrap, and operational losses
Coordinate with Production Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
Ensure material availability and smooth production flow
Support new product introduction and production ramp-up activities
Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams, strengthening discipline and problem-solving capability
Drive Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing preferred)
8–12 years of experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
Experience in heat exchanger, coil, piping, or process-driven manufacturing
Strong leadership in high-volume production environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
Good command of English
