Position Summary

The Production and Control Planner is responsible for supporting material control, inventory transactions, quality notification implementation, and project execution activities. The role serves as a key point of contact for part status inquiries and ensures accurate inventory management and system transactions to support manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Part Status Management

•Respond to ad hoc part status queries from internal stakeholders including Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.

•Provide timely updates on material availability, inventory status, shortages, and open orders.

•Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to part status and inventory records.

 

Quality Notification (QN) Implementation

•Coordinate and execute Quality Notification (QN) implementation activities.

Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to minimize operational impact from quality-related issues and changes

Production Control and Scheduling Support

•Perform SAP transactions to support material movements, goods receipts, inventory transfers, and stock adjustments.

•Ensure inventory transactions are executed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

•Investigate and correct transaction-related discrepancies as required.

•Support project execution by placing project materials into On-Hand inventory status.

•Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure project materials are available to support operational requirements.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material, inventory, and production status are aligned with project milestone and operational requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

•Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.

•Experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

•Knowledge of SAP, particularly MIGO transactions, is preferred.

•Familiarity with Quality Notification (QN) processes is an advantage.

•Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

•Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Effective communication and stakeholder management.

•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

•Timely response to part status queries.

•Accuracy of inventory transactions (MIGO).

•QN implementation completion rate.

Inventory accuracy for project materials.
