About the team:

The International Strategic Business Development team is responsible for defining, prioritizing and enabling the platform capabilities required to support international growth across Europe and AMEA. Working across Product Development, Architecture, Technology, Business Development, Delivery and Regional Leadership, the team translates business strategy, market opportunities and client needs into scalable platform capabilities and technical product outcomes.

The team drives international platform strategy, business development enablement, market readiness, architecture governance, platform productization, and growth execution. We act as the bridge between business objectives and technology delivery, ensuring platform investments remain aligned to market demand, regional priorities, and long-term strategic growth objectives.

What you will be doing:

As a Product Technical Consultant, you will help shape, define and evolve the platform capabilities that support international growth and product expansion. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will identify strategic opportunities, define business and technical requirements, support platform strategy and roadmap activities, and help ensure solutions are aligned with both market needs and long-term platform objectives. You will combine technical product management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement and requirements definition skills to drive informed product decisions and support successful platform evolution across international markets.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Supporting the development and execution of platform strategy and roadmaps aligned to international growth objectives.

  • Leading product discovery, business analysis and requirements-definition activities for strategic platform initiatives.

  • Translating customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities into actionable product capabilities and investment recommendations.

  • Partnering with Architecture and Technology teams to ensure platform capabilities meet performance, scalability, resilience and security requirements.

  • Supporting platform productization initiatives that improve reuse, standardization, and commercial consumption across markets.

  • Support architecture governance and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, scalability, resilience, reliability and security considerations.

  • Working with Business Development, Product Development and Commercial Product Management teams to support strategic pursuits, client opportunities and market expansion activities.

  • Evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

  • Leveraging AI, analytics, and automation tools to improve product management effectiveness, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

  • Driving alignment across Product, Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Define, document and manage business, functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring requirements are clear, traceable, measurable and aligned with platform strategy, roadmap priorities, international market needs and long-term growth objectives

What you bring:

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, MIS or Business-related field

  • Typically, minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, Business Analysis, Solution Consulting, or related technology roles.

  • Strong ability to translate business needs into product strategy, platform capabilities, and actionable requirements.

  • Experience working with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams in complex technology environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience influencing product direction, roadmap prioritization, and investment decisions.

  • Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative, international environment.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Payments, Banking or FinTech experience.

  • Experience supporting international markets, particularly Europe and AMEA.

  • Experience with cloud-native platforms, APIs and modern technology architectures.

  • Business Analysis or Product Management certifications.

  • Experience supporting strategic client pursuits and business development activities.

  • Experience with platform productization and service enablement.

  • Knowledge of AI-enabled product management, analytics, or automation tools.

  • MBA, MSc or equivalent advanced degree.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with exciting career opportunities and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 42,000.00 – EUR 85,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
