Product Support Operations Manager (Retrofit, Repair, Mod & Maint)

The F-15 Product Support Operations Manager will operate in a Mission Critical fast paced CLS maintenance environment within a highly complex and multi-organizational customer environment to deliver against contractual requirements and mission execution. As a successful candidate you will be embedded within an environment working alongside peers, teams and customers in dynamic and operationally focused atmosphere.

This local hire position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha Qatar.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day maintenance operations across multiple areas of operations ensuring that the Contractual, Customer, and organizational procedures and standards are complied with at all times.
• Develop Interface with multiple stakeholders as well as internal and external functions to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance services.
• Analyze TO’s, TCTO’s, engineering and maintenance documents to determine workflow, resources, capacity, and execution timelines
• Your fighter experience and 21-101 process knowledge will be vital in helping the customer achieve their training and business objectives
• Ensure timely execution of all maintenance activities ensuring the Customer aircraft are returned to service in a timely manner and to the required standard.
• You will be an energetic self-starter with the correct aptitude and attitude that can build enduring customer intimacy and high performing teams within an exciting and demanding arena
• Management of cost targets and identification of cost reduction initiatives within the maintenance services environment.
• Manpower planning, staffing, training, time management, performance management, personal development.
• Meet training requirements for mandatory Enterprise and non-enterprise training.
• Promote innovation and champion continuous improvement initiatives such as Safety Culture, First Time Quality, FOD Reporting, SMS and One BPS.
• Work with the Quality Team to address occurrences and audit findings in a timely manner.
• Provide oversight and approval of performance approaches, acquire resources, and maintains quality, safety, schedule, and cost plans.
• Represents program/organization as a prime contact on local day-to-day operations.
• This position requires an energetic self-starter leader with the correct aptitude and attitude that can build enduring customer relationships and has the ability to motivate and develop high performing teams within an exciting and demanding statement of work.
• You will act as ambassador for The Boeing Company at appropriate client organization levels (grade dependent) and will be responsible for generating full or elements of, execution solutions in line with the contractual requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.
• 1+ years of experience in providing technical and performance oversight of aircraft maintenance or modifications, including briefing US Government Customers on status of performance
• Demonstrable Knowledge of AFI 21-101
• 5+ years’ experience and proficiency of MS Office applications
• Ability to travel to domestically and/or internationally on short notice

• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience with F-15 aircraft systems
• Experience in leading operations efforts from cradle to grave
• Experience in integrating multiple priorities and mission requirements simultaneously
• Experience in one or more of the following domains:
• Maintenance /Modification
• Field Service and/or Maintenance leadership
• Military Program Support
• Financial/Business Acumen
• FMS Government Contracting Requirements and Compliance
