YOUR JOB

Are you ready to make an impact in product marketing? As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll shape messaging, drive strategy, and collaborate with a dynamic, international team to deliver innovative campaigns and customer-focused initiatives. Equipped with the tools, support, and freedom to own your work, you’ll be at the forefront of the rapidly expanding security and compliance market. Become the champion of our innovative multi-suite hybrid software solution.

WE PROTECT THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE DATA

We are a fast-growing security and compliance tech company with a clear purpose: we protect the people behind the data. With over 200 team members worldwide and with offices in Munich, Berlin, London, Stockholm, and Vienna, we help more than 4,000 global customers get certified fast and build a strong and scalable risk posture. With AI-powered automation, self-serve capabilities, and additional tailored expert advice, we offer our customers a seamless security and compliance experience to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving security landscape and challenges like the surge in cyber-attacks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • You establish and maintain compelling value propositions with supporting materials like messaging frameworks, website content, demo materials, and thought leadership.

  • You manage product launches and up- and cross-sell campaigns, often built around regulatory milestones such as NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act or the EU AI Act.

  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Professional Services) to ensure GTM campaigns are leveraging the latest product value propositions and messaging.

  • You translate complex regulation into clear, practical messages that show customers what it means for their business and how we help.

  • You collect and analyse customer insights and data while sharing them widely across the organisation to help improve our Product-, Partner- and Go-To-Market strategy.

  • You create onboarding and education materials, such as guides, product walkthroughs, that show how our platform and our experts work together, so customers know when the software guides them and when an expert steps in.

  • You conduct detailed competitive and market analyses for product segments, guiding the product roadmap and creating sales-focused battlecards.

  • You develop, maintain, and deliver sales enablement content and tools to empower the sales team.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN

  • The freedom, trust, and tools to do what you love and make an impact in a purpose-driven company, committed to doing genuine good in the digital world

  • Enjoy a high degree of flexibility with tailored working hours, choice of work location, and benefits that support your lifestyle, health, and family needs

  • Join a secure, future-focused role in a dynamic scale-up positioned to make a major impact in the rapidly expanding Security & Compliance market

  • Grow along expert or leadership paths with support from employee accelerator programs, bi-annual feedback cycles, and a personal training budget

  • Work in an environment that values autonomy, rapid decision-making, a flat hierarchy, and collaborative, eye-level communication to keep things moving forward.

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS.

  • A clear understanding of the sales funnel and customer journey, and of how positioning, messaging and enablement improve conversion and win rates.

  • Experience running product launches and go-to-market plans from start to finish, together with Product, Sales and other teams.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills. You can explain complex topics, such as new regulations, in simple, practical terms for decision-makers.

  • Experience with competitive intelligence and customer research, including interviews with customers and lost prospects.

  • Fluent German and English (C1 or higher), written and spoken.

  • Experience in security, privacy or compliance (for example ISO 27001, NIS2 or GDPR) is a plus.

  • Experience in enabling channel partners and expansion motions is a plus.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST. FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS:

No matter your origin, ethnicity, gender identity, religion or individual requirements; at DataGuard, all that counts is the person you are. As Guards and Guardettes, we are united not only by our dedication, but also by our shared belief in our purpose: Protect the people behind the data.
