We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of HVAC comfort solutions.

In this role, you will act as the voice of the customer, translating market needs into innovative product solutions. You will work closely with customers, engineering, project management, sales, and marketing teams to define product specifications, build business cases, develop roadmaps, and lead products through their entire lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and eventual phase-out.

This position is focused on products and technologies used within heat pump systems, requiring a strong technical mindset and the ability to bridge customer requirements with engineering solutions. The successful candidate will combine commercial awareness with technical expertise to shape future product strategy and support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, growth, and phase-out.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand challenges, gather requirements, and identify future opportunities.
  • Define product specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions that address customer and market needs.
  • Own product prioritization and support new product development programs.
  • Create business cases for new product initiatives, including market analysis, value proposition development, and expected return on investment.
  • Support pricing strategies and product positioning to maximize product performance and market success.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and portfolio improvements.
  • Work closely with project management teams to ensure successful execution of product development programs.
  • Act as the product expert and key stakeholder throughout the development process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Application Engineering, Technical Marketing, or a similar technical-commercial role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex engineered products.
  • Experience managing products through multiple stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps and translating customer needs into product requirements.
  • Understanding of pricing, value proposition development, and business case creation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within HVAC, climate technologies, industrial manufacturing, building systems, or another technical industry.
  • Knowledge of heat pump technologies, compressors, refrigeration, or thermal management applications.
  • Experience interacting directly with customers and gathering product requirements.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management methodologies and tools.

This role is based in Aachen, Germany, with a hybrid working model that combines collaboration in the office with the flexibility of remote work.
