ASPIRE is a Roche-wide business transformation program aimed at delivering best-in-suite, user-centric digital solutions to manage the company efficiently. At the center is the "One Roche Enterprise," co-creating a harmonized process house with SAP S/4HANA at its core. This program connects different parts of Roche to ensure a reliable supply of innovative medicine to customers, replacing outdated regional systems with integrated, scalable global processes. The PT Sustainment organization delivers ASPIRE post-deployment services through three core pillars:

Run: Acts as a one-stop support model providing Level 1–3 operational support.

Grow: Drives continuous improvement, template evolution, and strategic development of PT capabilities.

Govern: Provides effective steering and governance to ensure successful and compliant ASPIRE sustainment within PT.

The role is located in the govern and grow pillars of the PT sustainment organization. The Product Manager - Plan to Retire Fixed Assets is responsible for driving the strategy, definition, and delivery of digital solutions that manage the end-to-end lifecycle of fixed assets. You will own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the product's overarching business goals. Dedicating a high amount of your working time to managing and prioritizing the Agile Release Train (ART) Backlog, you will translate business requirements into actionable features. You will act as the vital bridge between business strategy and IT execution, steering the ART and ensuring that asset lifecycle and financial solutions create a continuous flow of value while being properly supported and enhanced.

The Opportunity

  • Own the product vision, roadmap (tactical and strategic horizons), and ART Program Backlog, prioritizing features based on value, business goals, and continuous exploration in asset management/accounting.

  • Operate at the ART level by defining, elaborating, and approving features with Business Owners (BOs) and System Architects, managing requirement changes and outcome alignments.

  • Convert L4 process-related business requirements into actionable features for Agile Teams while ensuring products meet right-quality standards and acceptance criteria.

  • Guide and mentor Product Owners to align user stories with PI objectives, and partner with the Release Train Engineer to align team capabilities and capacity needs.

  • Collaborate with internal IT, manufacturing sites, finance departments, and ART members to deploy solutions and provide business context and product vision.

  • Determine ART capacity allocation across features, enablers, and maintenance, partnering with stakeholders to define benefit hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and business value.

  • Lead the Solution Demo from a business perspective, run System Demos with the Product Owner, and ensure the ART meets economic business goals.

Who You Are

  • You bring a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering, with 7+ years of Asset Management, Finance, Plant Maintenance, or IT Product Management experience in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing.

  • You possess deep expertise in Asset Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., SAP FI-AA, SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance, SAP S/4HANA) and a proven track record in SAFe environments (SAFe PM/PO certification highly desirable).

  • You are a strategic visionary with strong end-to-end Plan to Retire process expertise, capable of translating strategies into concrete roadmaps and operational efficiency.

  • You are a collaborative stakeholder manager who bridges gaps between technical IT roles and operational business roles to build and deploy solutions.

  • You are a decisive agile leader skilled at backlog management, capacity allocation, feature definition, and driving continuous value delivery focused on economic business goals.

Ready for the next step? We look forward to hearing from you. Apply now to discover this exciting opportunity!
