About this Product Manager (m/w/d) role at YouGov
About the role
YouGov is consolidating established shopper analytics platforms into a single new product: the Shopper Insights Platform (SIP). SIP is rolling out across 17 European markets, with the German launch targeted for October 2027.
We're looking for a Product Manager to own go-to-market and adoption readiness for SIP: making sure the platform genuinely meets the needs of markets and clients currently served by AnalyzeIT and CIV, that launch phases are properly prepared and tested, and that the commercial model and internal teams are ready when SIP goes live. This role works closely with the Senior Product Manager who owns the platform build, and with Commercial, Support, Marketing, and Sales, to bring SIP successfully to market.
This is also a strong fit for someone currently in a delivery or analytical role, whether producing outputs for external clients or internal stakeholders, who knows the shopper analytics space well and is looking to move into product management. The delivery and legacy-tool experience below matter more than a prior product title.
What you'll do
Validate SIP functionality against real client workflows and requirements from AnalyzeIT and CIV, working closely with the Senior PM who owns the platform build, and flagging any gaps.
Plan and run structured launch phases, including beta, incorporating hands-on testing with clients and pilot markets.
Partner with the Support team to prepare materials and readiness for the period when SIP and the legacy tools run in parallel.
Work with Commercial leadership on go-to-market strategy, including packaging, tiering, and market sequencing, so the commercial model reflects what the product can actually deliver.
Shape the product roadmap through user stories and market and commercial input, in close alignment with the Senior PM owning the build.
Build working relationships with Marketing, Communications, and Sales to align messaging and commercial execution around each market launch.
What you'll bring
Must-have
Hands-on experience with shopper, retail, or consumer panel analytics platforms and workflows, ideally including YouGov's AnalyzeIT and/or CIV, or comparable tools from a similar data and insights environment.
Experience producing analytical deliverables, such as reports and dashboards, and answering common business questions directly for the people who use them, whether external clients or internal stakeholders.
Experience in a product, delivery, or analytical role (for example business analysis, insights delivery, consulting, or a stakeholder-facing analytics function), with a genuine interest in developing into or continuing in product management.
Comfortable working across technical, commercial, and client-facing stakeholders, and translating between them.
Experience with product launches or go-to-market processes.
Fluent English; German is an advantage given the initial market focus.
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with the FMCG or shopper marketing data landscape.
Experience collaborating with commercial or sales teams on packaging, tiering, or pricing.
Please note that only selected candidates will be directly contacted
