About this Product Manager Connected Devices role at Gunnebo Safe Storage
Role Overview
You will own a growing portfolio of connected products, including gateways, sensors, input units and future partner devices. You will also own how locks and other products connect to our platform. The role spans customer insight, business cases, product direction, launch, adoption and lifecycle performance.
The role is central to our SecureTech strategy: connecting trusted physical protection to software, data and services that create stronger customer value and new service opportunities. You will work across product, technology and commercial teams to bring scalable offers to market.
Responsibilities
• Own the connected-product strategy, roadmap, business cases and lifecycle plan.
• Turn customer and market insight into compelling propositions and priorities.
• Lead connected products from concept through launch, adoption and lifecycle improvement.
• Generate a recurring revenue setup for connected products and associated software.
• Own how devices connect to and create value through the platform
• Lead cross-functional delivery, balancing customer value, commercial potential, quality, cost and speed.
• Ensure security, compliance and lifecycle needs are built into the product plan.
• Support the regional positioning, launch readiness, subscription based sales enablement, adoption and commercial performance.
Requirements
• 5+ years in product management or a similar commercial product role, with experience of connected products and SW/connectivity sales. Experience can come from any industry.
• Proven experience taking connected products from customer need and business case through launch, adoption and in-life management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams around shared customer and business outcomes.
• Strong commercial mindset, including business cases, value propositions, go-to-market and customer/ sales engagement for subscription based products.
• Experience from agile SW development, HW & FW development.
• Strong stakeholder communication, international collaboration experience and professional fluency in English.
Useful experience: device connectivity, partner integrations, remote monitoring, recurring-revenue & service models in B2B.
