About Our Internship Program
As an intern at ITW Global Tire Repair, you’ll gain hands-on experience with our global brands through a project-based program that combines learning with real-world impact. Along the way, you’ll take on daily tasks that help you see how your team drives success, work with fellow interns on a community impact project, and wrap up the program by sharing your experience with division leadership.
Position Summary
The Product Management Intern will support the Product Manager in executing category strategies, managing product lifecycle activities, and contributing to new product development initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in consumer goods marketing and product management, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Research and analysis: Conduct market research and product usability studies, analyze customer feedback, help identify new product opportunities and ways to improve existing products.
- Product lifecycle management: Support full lifecycle management activities through product conceptualization, specification, development, launch, in-life phases and discontinuation.
- Go-to-market strategy development: Learn how to identify the target markets, audiences, and channels for new products; create strong value propositions; define positioning and benefits and set sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Project support: Help prepare product launch assets, maintain competitive and market intelligence databases, participate in cross-functional meetings, assist in tradeshow and event preparation and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Additional information
This is a temporary position (January 2027) working approximately 15-20 hours per week in our San Luis Obispo, CA office.
Compensation Information:
Range is $22 to $26/ hour depending on expertise. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
