Job Description:

About the Role & Team

Bring Disney stories to life through hands-on creative design for apparel graphics, prints and bespoke creative assets. As a Product Designer specialising in Apparel Graphics & Prints, you’ll create trend-led artwork, all-over prints, placement graphics and visual assets for infant, baby, childrenswear and kidswear ranges across EMEA retail partners. This role is focused on creative design for softlines and apparel categories, not product development, project management, packaging design or traditional industrial/product design.

Please include a portfolio or portfolio link with your application. Portfolios will be a key part of the assessment process and should demonstrate relevant apparel graphics, apparel prints, textile design, childrenswear, babywear, kidswear or softlines work.

This is a fixed-term contract role, based in our London Hammersmith office, with an expectation to work onsite four days per week.

Values

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values, acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

  • Design hands-on apparel graphics, placement prints, all-over prints, repeat patterns and bespoke creative assets for infant, baby, childrenswear and kidswear ranges across softlines and apparel categories.
  • Research consumer, market, competitor, textile, graphics and apparel print trends, translating insights into mood boards, artwork concepts, print stories, mock-ups, pitch materials and commercially relevant creative solutions.
  • Create and adapt designs that bring Disney characters, stories, franchises and creative assets to life in ways that feel relevant for babies, children and families.
  • Support creative development for retail partners and licensees, helping shape graphic and print direction for apparel ranges while aligning to Disney IP, brand guidelines and commercial priorities.
  • Review apparel artwork, graphics, print applications and product submissions, providing first-line creative, trend and brand feedback and escalating quality, integrity or consistency questions where needed.
  • Prepare clear visual materials, including design concepts, artwork packs, presentation decks and partner-facing creative assets that communicate ideas effectively to internal teams, retail partners and licensees.
  • Contribute to Disney’s product approval process by ensuring creative submissions are well prepared, routed accurately and aligned with global product integrity, legal and corporate requirements.
  • Where relevant, support occasional creative needs beyond apparel, including homewares, gifting or simple 3D visualisation work, helping reduce reliance on external freelancers for secondary creative tasks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in apparel graphics, apparel prints, textile design, childrenswear, kidswear, babywear, infant apparel or softlines design.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on creative design work across apparel graphics, all-over prints, placement graphics, repeat patterns, textiles, childrenswear, babywear, kidswear or related softlines categories.
  • Strong capability in graphic and print design, with the ability to translate trends, characters, storytelling, style guides and brand assets into commercially relevant apparel artwork.
  • Good awareness of infant, baby, childrenswear and kidswear markets, including age-appropriate graphics, colours, textiles, print techniques, materials and consumer expectations.
  • Ability to create clear visual design materials, including mood boards, artwork concepts, mock-ups, pitch decks and partner-facing creative presentations.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, with confidence using digital tools to create, adapt and present graphics, prints and textile-led concepts.
  • Confident reviewing creative submissions and providing clear first-line feedback on apparel graphics, print application, trend alignment, brand fit, quality and completeness.
  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple creative priorities, approvals and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and design quality.
  • Licensing experience is beneficial but not essential; experience in homewares, gifting or simple 3D creative work would also be advantageous as a secondary capability.
  • Fluent written and spoken English for business, with additional European languages beneficial.
  • Culturally aware, with a strong understanding of EMEA markets and a readiness to learn new systems, processes and tools.

The Perks

  • 25 days annual leave
  • Private medical insurance & dental care
  • Complimentary admission to eligible Disney Theme Parks, giving you the opportunity to experience the magic we create and make memories of your own. Admission is subject to availability, capacity restrictions, applicable rules, block-out dates, and eligibility requirements.
  • Access to a wide range of Disney discounts on Disney merchandise, Disney Food & Beverage, Disney Resort Hotels, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions, and more. Offerings are subject to availability and may be seasonal, and subject to applicable rules, restrictions, and eligibility requirements. Excellent parental and guardian leave
  • Employee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney Mosaic, Disney PRIDE, our disability & neurodiversity focused group - ENABLED, and our Mental Health & Wellbeing Group, TRUST.
