Job Summary:**

The Production Technician 2 at Lumentum Operations LLC is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks related to the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of optical components and sub-systems, ensuring products meet quality and performance specifications.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Perform complex assembly and test operations on optical components and sub-systems, adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
* Utilize various hand tools, test equipment, and fixtures to complete assigned tasks.
* Conduct routine and non-routine testing, data collection, and analysis to identify and resolve product issues.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in products and processes, implementing corrective actions under general supervision.
* Operate and maintain production equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance as required.
* Accurately record production data, including work-in-progress, test results, and defect information.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Provide training and guidance to less experienced production technicians as needed.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with optical or electronic components.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
* Experience with various test equipment (e.g., optical power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters) is highly desirable.
* Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing or sitting.

Pay Range:

N20-USA-1 :$21.65 - $27.05
