As a Purchasing Analyst at Cohesity, you will play a critical role in supporting our global manufacturing operations by ensuring material availability, supplier execution, and procurement excellence across a rapidly growing supply chain environment. You will work closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to maintain supply continuity, support cost competitiveness, and enable successful manufacturing and new product introduction activities.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to solve complex supply chain challenges. You will help drive procurement execution, monitor supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and support the operational readiness required to meet customer and business commitments.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE :

  • Monitor demand & supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and order acknowledgments to production requirements

  • Create, manage, and track Factory and CM purchase orders ensuring timely material availability to manufacturing requirements

  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to resolve shortages, expedite material, and drive mitigation efforts for supply risks

  • Maintain procurement data, including quarterly pricing calendar, lead times, supplier information, and cost rollups

  • Support inventory management activities by monitoring supply-demand alignment and identifying potential gaps

  • Assist with new product introduction (NPI) activities, including procurement readiness, supplier onboarding, and material planning

  • Track and analyse supplier performance, delivery metrics, and service levels to drive accountability and continuous improvement

  • Support quarterly cost reduction initiatives through continued pricing analysis, supplier engagement, and procurement process improvements

  • Monitor supplier allocations, capacity constraints, tariff impacts, and other market conditions which may affect material availability

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and manufacturing partners to support execution of business priorities (NPI, RFP)

  • Generate reports and analysis on material availability, shortages, procurement performance, and supplier status

  • Escalate supply issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution plans to protect financial plan and customer commitments

  • Execute procurement request to purchase orders in Coupa

  • Ensure procurement transactions and supplier activities comply with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing partners efficiency, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, manufacturing operations, or related functions.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and supplier management.

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and global suppliers in a technology, electronics, or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.

  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of supplier performance management, cost modelling, inventory optimisation, and procurement best practices is a plus.

  • Familiarity with global supply chain challenges, including allocation management, logistics constraints, and tariff considerations.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
