Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician to our team.

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Process Engineering Technician will be in charge of supporting manufacturing operations through equipment setup, process monitoring, troubleshooting, line configuration changes, and continuous process improvement activities while working closely with engineering and production teams. 

What a typical day looks like

  • Perform setup and configuration of processing equipment to support production requirements.

  • Monitor manufacturing processes, audit production activities, and provide guidance to line operators.

  • Conduct test runs and evaluate process performance to support yield improvement initiatives and new product introductions.

  • Prepare and maintain records of breakdown events, scrap, process results, charts, and graphs for engineering analysis.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to process development and engineering personnel.

  • Implement and support line change configurations as required by production schedules.

  • Perform corrective maintenance activities on production equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Follow established escalation procedures to address process, equipment, and production issues.

  • Assist in developing department goals and targets while supporting multiple programs or production areas.

  • Provide guidance and support to nonexempt production personnel as needed.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team,

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field, technical training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 4–6 years of related manufacturing, process engineering, or production support experience.

  • Ability to complete technical tasks in creative and effective ways while working independently.

  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and production equipment.

  • Knowledge of process monitoring, yield improvement, and production data collection.

  • Ability to prepare reports, charts, and graphs to communicate process performance and test results.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to determine appropriate quality and testing methods for new assignments.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical equipment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to production personnel.
