We are looking for a Print Production & Color Quality Consistency Specialist to join our creative production team. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with no direct reports, ideal for someone passionate about achieving best-in-class color accuracy and print excellence.

You will act as the subject matter expert in color management and print production execution, ensuring high-quality production of packaging and label materials while maintaining strict alignment with brand guidelines, design intent, and vendor specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Print Production & Color Specialist you will be responsible for:

Color Management & Enhancement:

• Execute advanced color correction, grading, and enhancement using Photoshop, Illustrator, and related tools.
• Apply color profiling and calibration techniques to ensure accuracy across print and digital outputs.

Print Production & Quality Assurance:

• Oversee printing materials for CPG lpackaging, ensuring high-quality production and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, creative intent, and technical specifications.
• Partner with vendors and printers to guarantee precise color reproduction across print runs.

Prepress & Proofing

• Prepare, review, and approve color proofs prior to production.
• Perform preflight checks and ensure files meet all technical and print requirements.
• Troubleshoot printing issues and provide solutions during execution.

Color Consistency Across Media:

• Ensure accurate color matching across multiple substrates (paper, plastic, labels, etc.) and printing processes (flexo, offset, digital).
• Maintain consistency across different production environments and regions.

Graphic & Digital Asset Management:

• Perform end-to-end assembly of Digital Design Templates, managing assets and data for primary and secondary packaging.
• Ensure Design Intent Matrix and all graphic adaptations are in-keeping with approved Design Intent and brand identity guidelines.
• Manage and organize digital assets and data within platforms (e.g., Egnyte), ensuring accessibility and accurate version control.
• Contribute to Design Intent Mapping by defining representative SKUs for graphic adaptation based on project scope.

Standards & Documentation:

• Build and maintain internal color libraries (swatches, specifications, and guidelines).
• Define and continuously improve color and print standards, workflows, and best practices.

Job Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of previous experience in related roles.
• Previous experience in color management, prepress, or print production (preferably in packaging or CPG).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of printing technologies and processes (flexo, offset, digital, dry offset etc.).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and prepress tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, preflight software, Esko or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of substrates, inks, and print materials.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting in print production.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
