Reporting to the VP, Care Innovation, the Principal Product Manager, Provider Platform will define and build the next generation of Spring Health’s provider experience.

Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City or San Francisco, with an expectation to be in the office 2–3 days per week. Candidates must be based in the NYC or SF metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites. 

What you’ll do

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Spring Health’s provider platform
• Develop a deep understanding of the needs of providers across different care-delivery, practice, and caseload models
• Create a flexible provider experience that supports clinical care, practice management, referrals, scheduling, documentation, billing, and payments
• Identify opportunities to simplify fragmented workflows and create a more cohesive experience across the provider journey
• Lead the evolution of mature products and platform capabilities while maintaining reliability, provider trust, and continuity of care
• Partner with provider operations, network, clinical, finance, and commercial leaders to connect product decisions to provider satisfaction, engagement, growth, and business performance
• Lead cross-functional teams spanning design, engineering, data, operations, clinical, and go-to-market functions
• Establish a thoughtful approach to product adoption and change management across a large, diverse provider network
• Use provider research, behavioral data, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis to identify unmet needs and make clear investment tradeoffs
• Define and measure success across provider retention, platform engagement, administrative efficiency, payment experience, caseload growth, and care continuity
• Communicate product strategy, sequencing, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, strategically important platform products.
• A proven track record of setting product strategy and delivering across zero-to-one development, platform evolution, or large-scale product transformation.
• A proven track record of setting product strategy and delivering across platform evolution, large-scale product transformation, or zero-to-one development
• Experience building products for professional users whose workflows, trust, and economic outcomes are critical to the business.
• Strong commercial and financial judgment, with the ability to connect product decisions to customer value, retention, growth, and operational performance.
• Technical fluency and experience partnering closely with engineering on platform architecture, integrations, data models, and sequencing decisions.
• A rigorous approach to discovery and measurement that combines qualitative research, behavioral data, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated success leading through ambiguity, making difficult tradeoffs, and driving execution across multiple teams and functions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to clearly articulate product strategy and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
• Experience introducing significant product or workflow changes while maintaining user trust, platform reliability, and business continuity.
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, fintech, or another regulated and operationally complex industry is strongly preferred. Experience with clinician-facing products, insurance workflows, or revenue-cycle management is a meaningful advantage.

The target base salary range for this position is $214,000 - $245,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
