Why this role is important for us

The Principal Analyst, Client Representation at SimCorp, is the senior on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) and named primary client interface for Securities Operations in Sydney — SimCorp's first APAC-region on-site presence for the Investment Operations Services (IOS) team. As the primary escalation owner for a portfolio of APAC asset management and managed-service clients, including one on-site managed-service (BPO) engagement, this role bridges remote operational delivery in Manila and Noida with local client expectations, representing SimCorp IOS at client governance meetings and service reviews.


The Principal Analyst coaches the Sydney Lead Analyst and owns the client-relationship governance framework for the region.


Requirements: 5–8+ years of experience in securities operations, including client-facing or managed-services work.


What you will be responsible for

  • Act as the primary escalation point and named client contact across all Securities Operations matters
  • Represent SimCorp IOS at client governance meetings, service reviews, and SLA reviews for the region
  • Own the relationship-management strategy for asset manager, investment manager and administrator stakeholders in the region
  • Own on-site oversight support for managed-service (BPO) operations in Sydney
  • Ensure the feedback loop from the client to delivery teams in Manila and Noida drives measurable operational improvement
  • Lead client onboarding support in the APAC timezone, coordinating readiness across all six functional domains
  • Coach and provide business/technical guidance to the Lead Analyst and regional support analysts
  • Own backup-coverage planning for the on-site SME function and escalation continuity
  • Apply cross-domain judgment to resolve the most complex or ambiguous client issues, drawing on expertise across Trade Processing, Asset Servicing, Reconciliation, Delivery Excellence, Operational Data Management, and Claims & CSDR
