About this Market Research Consultant - (Quant/Qual) role at IQVIA
About the Role
IQVIA is seeking a talented and motivated Primary Market Research Consultant to join our team in Algeria. In this role, you will support the design, management, analysis, and delivery of primary market research projects across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Working closely with clients, project leaders, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to generating actionable insights that help healthcare organizations make informed strategic and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop market research questionnaires and discussion guides for quantitative and qualitative studies.
- Manage market research projects in collaboration with internal IQVIA teams and external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope while providing regular status updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop report templates and define data tabulation requirements to support analysis and reporting.
- Review outputs produced by offshore teams and conduct preliminary analysis to identify key findings, trends, and insights.
- Create high-quality client presentations and support the design and coordination of interactive dashboards where required.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses using raw data to address client questions and support follow-up requests.
- Build expertise in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical markets, and market research methodologies through project work and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the development of innovative approaches and best practices within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical market research.
- Proven experience designing and managing quantitative and/or qualitative market research projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience working in a client-facing environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
Preferred
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, or market research industries.
- Familiarity with the Algerian healthcare and pharmaceutical market.
- Experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools.
Languages
- Fluent English required.
- Fluency in French required.
- Arabic is an advantage.
