This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the implementation and rollout of our new pricing strategy. You will work closely with commercial stakeholders, develop practical business skills, and make a meaningful contribution to an important strategic initiative. We are seeking a candidate who is willing to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months.


You will report directly to our Head of Commercial Enablement, E&I EMEA, and collaborate closely with a broad range of partners worldwide and teams such as Sales, Commercial Support, Commercial Excellence Customer Care & Product Management teams.


You’ll thrive in a flexible hybrid, seizing chances to create a significant impact from our office in Spain- Polynya. We will provide you with all the necessary training, as long as you possess a dedicated and driven approach. Experience is not a necessity if you demonstrate interest and eagerness to learn.

Working in pricing at Hempel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa offer a unique opportunity to understand how a global business competes in very different markets.


You’ll combine data analysis with commercial thinking, exploring how customer needs, competitors and local market conditions shape pricing decisions. As an intern, you’ll contribute to real business projects, and see how your work can influence sales and profitability, all while building skills that are valuable throughout your career: 


  • Uploading and maintaining prices in ERP and price databases to ensure traceability of decisions and the monitoring of market prices.
  • Ensuring that account managers adhere to the new established process & pricing framework.
  • Carrying ad-hoc analysis that help taking decisions by understanding regional pricing dynamics: price efficiency, competitors’ movements, price increases, customer and industry trends.
  • Support in preparing reports and presentations. For Management and C-suite stakeholders.

 

What does it take to become our new team member? 


  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or Business.
  • Solid MS Office and especially Excel skills.
  • Strong commercial competence.
  • Proficient in English. (proficiency in other foreign languages is considered an asset).
