We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader to serve as Practice Manager for a complex portfolio of surgical and specialty practices located on the Dearborn Hospital campus. This role provides the opportunity to lead operations across General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and affiliated specialty practices while partnering closely with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
In addition, this leader will oversee operations for Dearborn Hospital Surgical Associates, the Surgical Group in Canton, and the Weight Control Center in Canton. They will provide direct leadership to administrative and clinical support teams while collaborating closely with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to ensure efficient workflows, high-quality care, outstanding patient experiences, and strong operational performance across multiple sites.
Given the complexity, volume, and specialized nature of these practices, we are seeking a leader who brings:
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams across multiple practice locations in a complex clinical environment.
- Direct experience managing operations across multiple sites, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring consistent performance, service, and patient care standards across geographically dispersed locations.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to improve workflows, optimize performance, and support practice growth.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and independently drive results.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience building effective partnerships with providers, staff, and organizational stakeholders.
- A commitment to quality, patient experience, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leading multi-site medical practice operations, developing high-performing teams, supporting provider success, and achieving measurable operational, financial, and patient care outcomes. Prior experience with direct oversight of multiple practice locations is required, and this experience should be clearly demonstrated within the candidate's resume.

Scope of work
Responsible for the activities of team members within practice(s) and oversees the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with dyad partner. Trains team members and serves as a liaison between providers, team members and director in daily operations. Responsible for charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement and practice staffing. Manages team member performance and development and ensures policy adherence.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Preferred.
- Candidates must have prior healthcare leadership experience with direct oversight of multiple practice locations. Please ensure this experience is clearly reflected within your resume.
- Three (3) years of relevant healthcare, medical practice or related work experience Required.
- One (1) year of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience
