Position Overview

The Cloud Services team is seeking a Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to help design, operate, and continuously improve Cloud API Hosting Platforms a large-scale, multi-cloud platform environment (AWS & GCP skills preferred).

This team is responsible for the engineering, reliability, and governance of 200+ cloud services supporting critical business workloads. The role blends hands-on technical delivery with platform strategy, reliability standards, and automation at scale.

You will work closely with global engineering, security, and infrastructure teams, including senior leadership, to ensure Cloud API Hosting Platforms are secure, resilient, observable, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the development, maintenance and operations of IT services across 200+ infra services across our Cloud transformation landscape.
• Develop solutions and drive adoption of enterprise solutions such as Cyber Protection, Disaster Recovery, and Security enhancements, across Line of business teams.
• Drive improvement, through automation, of software delivered as a service from an efficiency and simplicity perspective.
• Provide clear operational documents and construction/support specifications to IT userbase.
• Provide insight into operational Metrics across the entire Cloud Environment.
• Consult with customers on any new requirements, design questions or functionality configurations for environments on and off premise
• Deliver the tooling and capabilities needed to enable cloud compliance, metrics, reporting and cost management roadmap and strategy.
• Participate in incident resolution and change implementation as necessary. This may occasionally include support during non standard hours.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert cloud engineering mindset with cloud experience across public cloud providers and the technologies most frequently used in engineering and managing highly reliable and automated technology environments.

• Expert experience with API management or hosting platforms (Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
• Expertise with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems).
• Expert knowledge of performance and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, and related tools.
• Expert understanding of CI/CD, release automation, and DevOps tooling.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, API security, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with incident command roles in major incident processes.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with cloud product management, cloud engineering, and Agile principles.
• Intermediate Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Intermediate knowledge of Ansible.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is also a plus.
