If that sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Quality Senior Manager to join our Quality team and provide strategic leadership across our Folkestone manufacturing site. This is a highly visible leadership role, acting as the key quality representative for the site and a critical partner to both site and European leadership teams.

This role is based on site at the manufacturing plant in Folkestone, Kent 5 days per week.

As Plant Quality Senior Manager, you will be accountable for the overall quality performance, compliance, inspection readiness and quality strategy across our manufacturing operations. You'll lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring robust systems, strong governance and a culture of continuous improvement across both cosmetic and medical device manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the site quality strategy aligned to European and Global Quality objectives.
  • Provide overall accountability for site quality performance, compliance and audit readiness.
  • Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including laboratories, microbiology and packaging inspection.
  • Ensure effective batch certification and release processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Drive quality systems improvements, governance and best practice adoption.
  • Lead complex investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation and risk management activities.
  • Influence cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Build, develop and mentor high-performing quality teams, ensuring strong succession planning and capability development.
  • Lead internal and external audits and act as the primary quality representative during inspections.
  • Use data, KPIs and trend analysis to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • Extensive quality leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485 and ISO 22716 standards.
  • Proven experience leading, developing and motivating quality teams.
  • Experience within medical device, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

You'll be a strategic and influential leader with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Combining technical quality expertise with commercial awareness, you'll be confident managing risk, leading through change and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You'll possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis and CAPA, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver outstanding results.

This role works Monday – Friday, 37-hours per week.
