About this Planning and Delivery Lead - Rail role at Quality People
Our client URGENTLY requires a Planning and Delivery Lead - Rail for a 12 months + Contract in Brisbane.
The highly experienced Planning and Delivery Lead will join a pivotal, large-scale rail infrastructure initiative. This is a key leadership role focused on overseeing the coordination and delivery of essential "Supporting Projects" that sit outside the primary design and build contract. The Planning and Delivery Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, procurement, and delivery of critical infrastructure, including test track facilities, mainline connections, network upgrades, and various stabling and maintenance facilities. Acting as a strategic lead, you will manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality to ensure these assets are fully integrated, operational, and seamlessly transitioned to support the testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of the new train fleet.
Skills and Experience required include:
- A degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience on major infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years specifically within rail or rollingstock.
- Demonstrated experience working with state transport departments and rail authorities on the delivery of roads or rail infrastructure.
- Proven ability to provide expert advice to senior executives and lead high-performing, safety-focused project teams.
Government experience would be advantageous !
