JOB DESCRIPTION

- Primarily focuses on negotiating contracts, processing purchase orders, evaluating data and supplier management

- Requires a general understanding of purchasing policies and procedures, purchasing related laws, agency, legal and ethical obligations

- Clear understanding of supplier terms and conditions

- Ability to negotiate (tactics, techniques, and strategies)

- Working knowledge of how supply strategies fit into corporate strategies

- Evaluates cost breakdowns to identify opportunities to reduce overall cost

- Targets cost book management and impact of time value of money calculations

- Executes commodity strategies

- Able to communicate effectively

- Good time management and effectively works as a part team
