Physical Therapist
Location: Edison, NJ
Position: Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT)
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Edison, NJ to work with patients receiving outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. This role focuses on evaluating movement limitations, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping patients improve strength, mobility, function, and confidence with everyday activities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic injuries, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and strategies for continued recovery
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Help patients safely return to work, recreation, sports, and daily activities
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) degree
- Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
- Knowledge of orthopedic evaluation and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
