Salary: $90K–$100K annually, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Expected Patient Schedule: 1–2 patients per hour
Employment: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

An orthopedic outpatient practice in Edison is hiring a Physical Therapist to manage a varied caseload of patients with orthopedic injuries, post-operative needs, pain, and mobility restrictions.

The position requires a PT who can make sound clinical decisions throughout the rehabilitation process. You will determine treatment priorities, track functional changes, and progress patients according to their individual goals and response to care.

Primary Duties

• Conduct initial and follow-up physical therapy assessments
• Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment goals
• Treat orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions
• Provide strengthening, flexibility, balance, and mobility training
• Progress therapeutic activities according to patient ability
• Perform hands-on treatment when appropriate
• Reassess functional performance throughout treatment
• Provide patient education and home exercise guidance
• Maintain complete progress notes and treatment records

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist License
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or MSPT Degree
• Prior outpatient PT experience
• Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation
• Ability to manage patient care independently
