The Opportunity

As a Tax JD Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of tax consulting, gaining exposure to the complexities of the global tax landscape. You will support our dedicated tax professionals in optimizing tax strategies, minimizing risks, and driving compliance to maximize client outcomes. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that provides innovative solutions to help clients navigate industry-specific tax challenges and seize opportunities for sustainable growth.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects. You will observe professional work environments and contribute reliably to the team's success. Responsibilities

- Supporting tax teams in preparing and reviewing consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions
- Participating in corporate tax planning and consulting projects to optimize tax strategies
- Assisting in the analysis of corporate transactions and post-deal integration processes
- Engaging in tax compliance activities to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with team members on tax modeling and finance integration initiatives
- Conducting research on tax regulations and industry-specific tax challenges
- Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions and opportunities
- Contributing to the preparation of purchase and sale agreements and related documentation
- Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to develop technical skills
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to enhance personal and professional growth

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
