About this Pharmacy Technician I - Retail - Days role at Endeavor Health
Hourly Pay Range:
$18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Pharmacy Technician I, Retail
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Part-time: 40 hours per 2 week pay period cycle
- Hours: Rotating Shifts Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm; rotating holidays
- Travel Required: Yes
What you will do:
- Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
- Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
- Maintain inventory of drug supplies
What you will need:
- License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
- Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
