Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging, compounding pharmaceuticals, refilling stock supplies, delivering medication, and performing various clerical duties as required.This role is essential in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent service to our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Technician I and II requirements.
- Successfully completes required training and maintains competency in one or more of the following areas:
- Sterile medication preparation
- Pediatric sterile and nonsterile medication preparation
- Controlled substance inventory, distribution, and disposal
- Ensures compliance with the department’s Controlled Substances Compliance Plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Pharmacy Technician-PTCB
- Or, Certified Pharmacy Technician-NHA
- Specialized, short-term training in the areas of pharmacy law, practice standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names.
- Successful completion of PHS Sterile Products Compounding Competency
- At least one year of experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
