The Position

This role is a key entry-level position within our Pharma Services Research & Development team, dedicated to supporting innovative diagnostic solutions and molecular therapies. As a member of this team, you will conduct vital laboratory experiments and engage in routine scientific research activities under guided supervision. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional team members to present research findings, troubleshoot experimental procedures, and support overall laboratory operations.

The Opportunity

The Pharma Services Research Associate is primarily responsible for executing entry-level laboratory experiments and project activities to generate accurate research data. In this role, you will analyze experimental results and maintain high-quality scientific documentation under guided supervision.

  • Plan and execute laboratory experiments following established procedures, project plans, and safety guidelines (SHE/OSHA).
  • Assume responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results while maintaining accurate, up-to-date lab notebook documentation.
  • Summarize data into tables or figures, analyze results using standard tools, and draw conclusions following detailed instructions.
  • Assist with project coordination, study plan preparations, and basic troubleshooting of experimental procedures.
  • Prepare and present experimental findings and project updates during internal or external meetings.
  • Participate in routine laboratory maintenance and uphold quality and safety standards.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or a Master's degree with no prior experience).
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Basic knowledge of tissue morphology and tissue-based diagnostic technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute laboratory experiments, recognize basic procedural problems, and perform entry-level data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and present scientific data effectively.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and the flexibility to multitask and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

This is an on-site position. Relocation benefits are not approved for this posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is $51,000 -$80,080. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
