About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Manager of Performance to lead, coach, and develop a high performing sales team in Santo Domingo. This role is central to driving revenue growth, building a culture of accountability, and ensuring the team consistently hits and exceeds targets.
The ideal candidate is an experienced front-line sales leader with a data-informed mindset, a passion for people development, and the ability to translate performance metrics into actionable coaching. You will serve as the bridge between strategic sales goals and day-to-day execution — motivating your team, removing friction from the sales process, and holding the standard for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives through consistent one-on-one sessions, live call monitoring, roleplays, and real-time feedback.
- Track and analyze individual and team sales performance metrics (conversion rates, pipeline velocity, call activity, closing rates) and translate data into targeted coaching actions.
- Manage the sales pipeline with a hands-on approach — understand each deal, follow up consistently, and drive deals to close.
- Conduct takeover and 2nd-voice calls when needed, demonstrating objection handling and closing techniques to support reps.
- Run energizing daily team huddles and weekly performance reviews to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Design and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming team members, with clear milestones and follow-through.
- Identify skills gaps across the team and partner with training to develop targeted skill-up sessions and workshops.
- Monitor CRM hygiene and ensure accurate, timely pipeline reporting from all team members.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to align team targets with broader company revenue goals.
- Foster a culture of healthy competition, recognition, and continuous improvement within the sales floor.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and coach sales professionals toward consistent performance improvement.
- Strong understanding of outbound sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable reading performance dashboards and using metrics to guide coaching decisions.
- Call center experience preferred.
- Advanced English required (fully bilingual — English and Spanish).
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and motivational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or alternative lending is a plus.
