Job Description:

Brooks Instrument (www.brooksinstrument.com), an industry leader in flow and pressure instrumentation for critical applications, is seeking candidates for a Payroll Processor position that will be based at the company headquarters in Hatfield, Pennsylvania (suburban Philadelphia). Basic Functions

This person will provide payroll administration and accounts payable support to the Finance department.

Essential Duties and Responsibility

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for Brooks US
• Audit time schedules records, resolve exceptions and errors
• Maintain employee profiles in the system, handling new hires, terminations, rate changes etc.
• Validate complex pay components like overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, etc.
• Answer day-to-day employee and manager payroll inquiries
• Strong attention to detail, time-management capabilities, and strict adherence to data confidentiality
• Assist in processing AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
• Review and verify invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approval (both inventory and general spending)
• Interact with appropriate departments to complete required functions (HR, Materials, Receiving, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable
• Assist in the execution of payments and manage vendor relations
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with special projects supporting continual improvement initiatives
• Regular attendance and the ability to follow all safety procedures
• Ability to work cross-functionally and get along with others in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or minimum 2 years of Payroll experience
• PC knowledge with Microsoft Office or equivalent experience required.
