As a Patient Access Representative in Central Scheduling, you're often the first connection patients have with our health system. Whether they're scheduling a routine appointment or coordinating specialized services, you help guide them to the right care at the right time.
Your attention to detail, compassion, and problem-solving skills help make scheduling simple, accurate, and stress-free—creating a seamless experience for both patients and providers.
💼 What You'll Do:
Schedule patient appointments across multiple specialties and locations
Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required information is complete
Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and scheduling requirements when needed
Help patients find appointment times that best meet their needs
Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
Communicate with providers, clinics, and care teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidentiality

🧠 What You Bring:
Experience in customer service or healthcare
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center or scheduling environment
📋 Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (or 2 years of applicable experience in lieu of education)
2 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience
