About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Partnerships Manager to build and scale new monetization channels through strategic partnerships.
The role will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, launching, and growing partnerships across third-party publishers, affiliate partners, advertising platforms, research companies, and other ecosystem partners.
This is a hands-on role spanning the entire partnership lifecycle — from identifying the right partners and negotiating commercials to contracting, product/tech integration, launch, and ongoing revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital monetization and have previously created or scaled revenue channels through partnerships, rather than simply managing existing partner relationships.
What You Will Do
1. Build the 3P Publisher Business
Identify and build relationships with third-party publishers/platforms with monetizable inventory.
Develop the partnership proposition, commercial model, and go-to-market approach for bringing publishers onto the platform.
Evaluate publisher opportunities based on inventory quality, scale, monetization potential, economics, and strategic fit.
Own the partner lifecycle from initial outreach and commercial discussions through integration, launch, and scale.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Ad Operations, Data, and other teams to onboard and scale publisher partners.
2. Build New Monetization Partnerships
Identify and develop partnerships across multiple areas, including:
Advertising / AdTech partners
Third-party publishers
Affiliate / commerce partners
Market research and survey companies
Demand- and supply-side platforms
Other emerging monetization partners and platforms
3. Commercial Negotiations & Deal Closure
Lead commercial discussions with prospective and existing partners.
Structure commercials, revenue shares, pricing, and incentive mechanisms that create sustainable economics for both parties.
Negotiate contracts, commercials, SLAs, and other partnership terms.
Work closely with Legal, Finance, and other internal teams to close agreements and get partnerships live.
Own the commercial relationship throughout the partnership lifecycle.
4. Grow and Monetize Existing Partnerships
Develop relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for incremental revenue and business growth.
Track partner performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, yield, volume, and margins.
Build joint business plans with strategic partners.
Identify new use cases, inventory, products, or geographies that can expand the partnership.
Act as the commercial owner for the partner relationship.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
7–10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, monetization, AdTech, affiliate, digital media, publisher partnerships, or related areas.
Strong experience in building revenue/monetization channels through external partnerships.
Experience working directly with publishers, advertising partners, affiliate platforms, research companies, AdTech companies, or other digital ecosystem players.
Demonstrated ability to identify, negotiate, and close commercial partnerships.
Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to discuss revenue share, pricing, margins, yield, incentives, and business economics.
Experience taking partnerships from concept → negotiation → contract → integration → launch → scale.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sales.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and improve partner economics.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Good to Have
Experience in AdTech / digital advertising / publisher monetization.
Experience with 3P publisher ecosystems and advertising inventory monetization.
Experience with rewarded advertising, offerwalls, surveys/research, affiliate commerce, or performance marketing.
Existing relationships across publishers, AdTech platforms, research companies, or affiliate ecosystems.
Experience working in a high-growth environment where partnerships need to be built from scratch rather than managed through an established playbook.
