PURPOSE:

To create, process, and maintain electronic document storage and retention for Loan Administration documents and member loan files, to ensure the security and proper destruction of hard copy documents in the imaging pipeline.

DIMENSIONS:

Responsible for ensuring the security, processing, maintenance, and compliance of all Loan Administration documentation moving through the imaging pipeline. 

DUTIES:

Prepare Loan Administration documents for imaging

Accurately scan documents for Loan Administration to the imaging system

Assist Real Estate Collateral Servicing with filing, maintaining, and organizing collateral jackets within the real estate collateral vault

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have accurate typing skills and the ability to concentrate on required duties

Must be service oriented and have good verbal and written communication skills

Independent work ethic and good organizational skills

Must complete required SECU continuing education courses

Must demonstrate accuracy, consistency, and the ability to meet work deadlines

Must adhere to work schedule and attendance policy

Must be self-motivated

Must be able to work independently and be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers including all levels of management

Must maintain dedication to the Credit Union philosophy

Must be able to handle simultaneously, multiple tasks and changing priorities in an efficient and effective manner

Must be able to speak English fluently

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products

Must be professional and cordial in all interactions with vendors, members, and co-workers

JOB ENVIRONMENT:

Office setting with physical proximity to other employees. 

Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions

Job requires a substantial amount of sitting

Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information

Use hands and fingers to press telephone keypad and lift telephone receiver.

Must be able to comprehend phone calls

Must be able to lift 30 pounds
