Part Time Infant Nanny – Santa Clara, CA

A family in Santa Clara, CA 95051 is seeking an energetic, highly experienced private nanny to care for their 6-month-old baby boy. The family follows structured care routines and is looking for a professional caregiver for a long-term commitment (at least 6 months). This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Duration: Long-term commitment (minimum 6 months)
• Three-day paid trial period required

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Home features steep stairs
• Strict illness policy: caregiver must take sick leave if coughing, sneezing, or showing symptoms of illness

Responsibilities:

• Follow the family's established feeding schedule and care routines closely
• Handle diaper changes, including washing after potty
• Read daily to the baby to support early language development
• Take the baby on daily neighborhood walks
• Trim baby's nails as needed
• Maintain cleanliness in child areas: sanitize toys, clean play mats, tidy up toys, and wash soiled baby clothes after diaper changes

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional infant childcare experience
• Infant CPR/First Aid certified
• Fluent in English (daily reading required)
• Ability to follow structured household protocols and routines precisely

Compensation:

• $35–$40 per hour (commensurate with experience); Three-day trial period is fully paid
