About this Paleo Valley LLC - Meta Media Buyer role at JobRack

JobRack · Remote · North Macedonia

Take full ownership of Meta growth for a fast-growing subscription brand.

$4,000-$4,500/month | 40 hours/week | 11am - 3pm Mountain Time overlapAt Paleovalley & Wild Pastures, we’re revolutionising health for both our customers and the planet through high-quality, sustainably sourced products. At Paleovalley, we focus on providing premium ingredients, while Wild Pastures collaborates with family farmers to offer affordable, grass-fed and pasture-raised meats. We've been growing at a rapid pace, and our goal is to extend that momentum, maximising our positive impact on a global scale.

Our team of 200 passionate people work across the U.S. and internationally in areas like marketing, media buying, design, and logistics. As a family-owned company, we pride ourselves on a work culture that's both challenging and fun, prioritising physical and mental well-being. Here, respect, unity, and empowerment drive us forward every day. If you're looking for a supportive environment that truly cares about its team, keep on reading.

We’re looking for an experienced Meta Media Buyer to own Wild Pastures’ paid social growth across Facebook and Instagram. You’ll lead strategy, execution, optimisation and scaling for a subscription e-commerce business, working closely with the creative team. You’ll connect acquisition results to retention, customer lifetime value and payback, using data to challenge assumptions and identify growth opportunities. Meta should be your specialism, with a track record of turning performance insights into action.

📋 Own Meta as a growth channel for Wild Pastures, managing campaign strategy, account structure, budget allocation, optimisation, and scaling across Facebook and Instagram

💰 Drive profitable subscription growth using new-customer acquisition cost (nCAC), ROAS, MER, CPA, customer lifetime value (LTV) and payback, considering retention and customer quality alongside acquisition volume

🧪 Design and execute structured testing roadmaps across creative, offers, landing pages, campaign structures, and bidding strategies to continuously improve account performance

💡 Own platform creative strategy, using performance insights to identify opportunities and develop new concepts

✏️ Brief and guide creative development, partnering with creative strategists and editors to bring strategy to life and improve performance

🎯 Transform performance insights into creative direction by identifying patterns, winning messaging, audience behaviours, and emerging opportunities

📊 Monitor account performance daily, proactively identifying trends, investigating root causes, and communicating risks, opportunities, and recommendations before they become larger problems

📚 Stay up to date with Meta platform changes, measurement updates, attribution best practices, and emerging direct-response advertising trends

🛡️ Protect customer trust and account health with truthful, compliant advertising. No misleading claims or forced-continuity tactics.

Creative strategy is roughly half of this role. You'll shape creative direction, not just manage campaigns. Whether you come from in-house or an agency, you'll want deep ownership of one brand rather than a spread of client accounts.

This is a long-term international independent contractor engagement of approximately 40 hours per week. Contractors should generally be available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time for meetings, planning and team communication. Mountain Time is the reference schedule; check the local equivalent as daylight-saving changes can affect the overlap. Outside these collaboration hours, you may organise your schedule independently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need:

✅ 3+ years of hands-on Meta buying for DTC e-commerce or direct-response brands, with ownership from strategy through execution

✅ Personally managed around $300,000+ per month in Meta ad spend. Please be specific about whether this was one account or spread across several clients.

✅ Demonstrated success acquiring customers profitably, with a strong understanding of CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and payback period. Subscription experience is strongly preferred.

✅ A proven track record of scaling profitable campaigns while managing meaningful advertising budgets

✅ Experience owning a Meta account end-to-end, from strategy through execution and optimisation

✅ Exceptional analytical skills and genuine curiosity for solving performance problems

✅ Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and how they connect to overall business growth

✅ Experience optimising for customer quality and long-term profitability rather than first-purchase revenue alone. Subscription or repeat-purchase metrics are ideal.

✅ Hands-on experience with analytics and attribution tools beyond Ads Manager, such as GA4, Haus, Mixpanel, Northbeam or Triple Whale, and the ability to explain how they informed your decisions

✅ Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes effective direct-response advertising

✅ Ability to translate performance insights into actionable creative feedback that improves future campaigns

✅ Experience working closely with creative teams through briefing, iteration, and testing

Brownie points for:

⭐ Direct experience scaling a subscription e-commerce brand on Meta

⭐ Experience marketing premium food, health, wellness, supplement, or direct-to-consumer subscription brands

⭐ Experience working within high-growth e-commerce companies

⭐ Experience with AI-assisted campaign optimisation and creative testing on Meta

⭐ Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and direct-response marketing

⭐ A passion for regenerative agriculture, nutrient-dense food, health, or wellness

The ideal candidate values ownership, autonomy, continuous learning, and long-term collaboration. Rather than simply managing campaigns, you'll enjoy diving deep into performance data to uncover opportunities others might miss. Your expertise lies in specialisation - Meta is your craft, and you're committed to becoming exceptional at it. Working independently comes naturally to you, yet you thrive when collaborating with creative teams to turn insights into high-performing concepts.
