In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, coordinating integrations with other systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the solution's evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Strong knowledge of platform configuration, customization, and integration techniques within ServiceNow ITSM.
- Experience in managing release cycles and deployment processes for packaged or SaaS applications.
- Ability to establish and enforce platform standards to maintain system stability and performance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and providing effective solutions across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
