What impact you’ll make
Reporting to the Global Services Operations Leader, the Outage Readiness & Job Completion Leader will lead outage readiness, FSRR 2.0 deployment, execution governance, field service deliverables, job closure excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives globally. The role will partner with Regional Service Managers, Project Managers, Quality Leaders, and Field Engineers to improve outage preparedness, execution quality, customer satisfaction, and job completion efficiency.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Lead global adoption of FSRR 2.0 and outage readiness processes.
- Establish outage readiness scorecards and execution health metrics.
- Drive closure of regional readiness actions and execution gaps.
- Own service execution handoff and job completion governance.
- Lead Smart Checklist implementation and continuous improvement.
- Review and analyze site escapes and execution quality issues.
- Drive lessons learned, read-across activities, and corrective actions.
- Standardize completion package requirements and FSE deliverables.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, OTR, and Commercial teams to improve field execution outcomes.
- Support OT Cyber Security readiness and compliance requirements during outage planning and execution.
- Develop operational dashboards supporting outage readiness, job closure, and field quality KPIs.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 6 years Controls experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years Controls experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with GE Control Products and Mark VIe systems in Services, Engineering, Commercial Operations, Project Management, or Field Execution.
What will make you stand out
- 10+ years of experience with GE Controls Product Systems (Mark VI, Mark VIe, LCI, EX2100, static starter, and turbine control systems).
- 6+ years of OT Cyber Security, Field Engineering, OTR Engineering, or Controls Lifecycle Services experience.
- Proven knowledge of outage readiness methodologies and risk mitigation.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and digital reporting tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve operational issues.
- Proven program and project leadership capabilities.
- Ability to document, develop, and execute operational excellence programs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
