OTT Platform Communications Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated OTT Platform Communications Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing the platform’s public relations and communications strategy, helping to strengthen brand awareness, drive media visibility and effectively communicate our content, products, initiatives and key announcements to external audiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent writing skills, a good understanding of the media and entertainment landscape and a passion for content and digital platforms.

Job Description 

• Implement and develop a comprehensive communications and PR strategy aligned with marketing and business goals
• Develop compelling press materials and messaging to support content launches, original productions, partnerships, campaigns and key platform announcements
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and content creators
• Identify and develop opportunities to increase the visibility and awareness of the platform across relevant media and communication channels
• Oversee communication across traditional and digital channels (press, social media, newsletters, website)
• Promote the platform’s content, original productions, acquisitions, key programming, partnerships and other initiatives through targeted PR activities
• Coordinate and support press events, launches and other promotional activities
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication activities
• Support the development of key messages, presentations and briefing materials
• Support new business initiatives and launch new services/content
• Stay up to date with media, entertainment, streaming and OTT industry trends, as well as competitors activities
• Manage brand reputation and support crisis communication if needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Public Relations, Communications, Media Relations or a similar role
• Experience in the media, entertainment, streaming, digital or technology industry will be considered a strong advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content for different audiences
• Strong understanding of the Greek media landscape and established relationships with journalists and media representatives will be considered an advantage
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, creative and collaborative mindset
• High attention to detail, professionalism and discretion
• Passion for entertainment, content, streaming and digital media
