About the Role

Serve as the Workstream Lead for Unit Operating Cost (UOC) and Upstream Throughput Competitive Performance workstreams for EMED. Drive value creation by identifying, maturing, and delivering initiatives that improve production capacity, reliability, operational efficiency, and cost competitiveness. Act as the primary focal point between initiative owners, operations teams, business performance analysts, and leadership to ensure opportunities are captured, progressed, and realized. Translate benchmarking into actionable insights for EMED operations and leverage learnings from other offshore regions to drive progress in EMED.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the UOC and Upstream Throughput opportunity portfolios and maintain a healthy initiative pipeline.

  • Identify and develop new cost reduction, reliability improvement, and production optimization opportunities through facilitated ideation sessions, integration into standing forums, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Steward maturation of initiatives, including resourcing decisions, business case reviews, implementation planning, and Competitive Performance (EP) tool management.

  • Assign and support Initiative Owners, clarify roles and responsibilities, and help remove execution barriers.

  • Work with Business Performance Analysts to develop business cases and validate value capture.

  • Track initiative progress, milestones, risks, and realized value.

  • Support throughput optimization, production debottlenecking, and reliability improvement opportunities across EMED assets.

  • Prepare dashboards, metrics, and updates for leadership and Performance Delivery Teams.

  • Support operations benchmarking studies (i.e., Solomon), and work with the central Benchmarking Team to gain business insights relevant to EMED operations.

  • Represent Competitive Performance in Operations and leadership forums.

  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to ensure initiatives are prioritized and progressed in support of regional Competitive Performance objectives.

  • Identify organizational barriers, competing priorities, and resource constraints, and collaborate with leadership teams to resolve them.

  • Build cross-functional relationships across EMED assets and organizations to improve collaboration and accelerate value delivery.

  • Support the Performance Delivery Lead, Workstream Sponsor, and Performance Delivery Team by preparing materials, providing insights, highlighting risks, and identifying opportunities for acceleration.

  • Promote a culture of recognition within Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience in production operations, facilities engineering, process engineering, reliability, optimization, project management, continuous improvement, business analytics, or related disciplines.

  • Experience supporting projects, initiatives, or improvement efforts through planning, execution, and value quantification and delivery.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate, and facilitate across multiple stakeholders, organizational boundaries, and cross-functional teams, including the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to identify barriers, navigate organizational complexity, prioritize competing demands, and drive progress toward business objectives.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, learning agility, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while engaging with leadership.
