What you will do:

• Providing hands-on IT support to employees and resolving everyday hardware and software issues.
• Managing and troubleshooting Windows desktop environments and workplace devices.
• Administering Active Directory, including users, groups, computers and basic Group Policy management.
• Managing user onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administering Microsoft 365, including users, licenses, Exchange Online and Teams.
• Troubleshooting basic network issues, including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLAN-related topics.
• Supporting and troubleshooting workplace hardware such as laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers and meeting-room equipment.
• Independently diagnosing and resolving common onsite IT issues.
• Supporting the local IT environment and acting as the technical contact for remotely managed infrastructure.
• Maintaining good documentation and ticket handling for IT-related requests and incidents.
• Supporting the administration of Windows Server environments, including DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Supporting Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory and basic Azure infrastructure.
• Working with virtualization environments, including VMware ESXi.
• Supporting backup and recovery processes using tools such as Veeam.
• Supporting Windows patch management and related tools such as SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager and WSUS.
• Participating in the implementation of new IT projects and solutions.
• Working closely with central IT teams and colleagues in Germany.
• Communicating with external IT suppliers and software/hardware vendors when needed.
• Helping ensure compliance with company IT security policies.
• Continuously learning and developing your knowledge of technologies relevant to the role.

You will not only solve tickets and technical problems. You will become an important local technical contact for our employees, helping them work efficiently while cooperating with our central IT teams and supporting the development of our IT environment.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to grow your knowledge across Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, cloud, virtualization and IT infrastructure.

What we are looking for:

• You have good working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• You have strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments and end-user troubleshooting.
• You have good knowledge of Active Directory administration, including users, groups, computers and basic Group Policy management.
• You have experience with user onboarding and offboarding processes.
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including users, licenses, Exchange Online and Teams.
• You have a good understanding of basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLAN concepts.
• You have experience troubleshooting workplace hardware, such as laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers and meeting-room equipment.
• You are able to independently diagnose and resolve common onsite IT issues.
• You have good documentation and ticket-handling skills.
• You are able to work independently onsite while cooperating closely with central IT teams.
• You have a hands-on and service-oriented approach.
• You are reliable and comfortable taking ownership of local IT issues.
• You have a structured troubleshooting mindset.
• You are comfortable acting as the local technical contact for remotely managed infrastructure.
• You are willing to learn technologies outside the immediate scope of the role.
